Domatic Working is the oldest of the many known Royal Arch rituals.

The Domatic Chapter of Instruction, which has met continuously since 1850, is the premier RA teaching authority in the world.

We welcome Royal Arch Masons at every stage of their Masonic careers, and each meeting is structured to involve as many Companions as possible in the evening’s work.

To this end, we don’t always rehearse a complete Ceremony at each meeting, but may repeat certain sections and take time to offer guidance on floorwork and Ritual delivery – explaining ‘How’ and ‘Why’ as well as ‘Where’ and ‘When’.

The evening’s work, and the allocation of Offices, is determined according to what those present will next be doing in their own Chapters.  Our rehearsals are conducted in a light-hearted and friendly atmosphere – we’re here to support each other, not to criticise – our Chapter room isn’t a classroom!

We aim for a start time between 6.45 and 7.00pm. Prior to being able to proceed to our allocated Chapter room (as advised when you check in at the front desk), we assemble in the Bar on the ground floor of Freemasons Hall.

We look forward to seeing you!
